Schneider Electric 140NRP95400 Fiber Optic Repeater Module

The Schneider Electric 140NRP95400 Fiber Optic Repeater Module is a two-channel MM/ST fiber optic repeater for Modicon Quantum Remote I/O (RIO) networks, enabling communication between two or more RIO nodes or network segments over multimode fiber. It is designed to mount in a Quantum rack and draws power from the rack, with no backplane communication to other modules. The unit provides two optical ports (MM/ST) for fiber links and includes local LED signaling to indicate status. Electrical specifications include a 5 VDC supply with about 5 W of power consumption and a bus current requirement around 700 mA. Note: end of commercialization for this reference was December 9, 2025, and Schneider Electric recommends the BMXNRP0200 fiber optic repeater as a replacement.
