Schneider Electric 140CPS11420 Power Supply Module

Schneider Electric 140CPS11420 Power Supply Module for Modicon Quantum provides a regulated 5.1 V DC bus to CPU and I/O modules on the Quantum backplane, delivering up to 130 VA of power for summable or standalone configurations. It accepts either 115 VAC or 230 VAC input: 115 V AC (93–132 V, 47–63 Hz) or 230 V AC (170–276 V, 47–63 Hz). Typical input currents are 1.3 A at 115 V and 0.75 A at 230 V, with an inrush current of about 38 A at 115 V or 19 A at 230 V. The output is 5.1 V DC with a standalone current capability of 11 A and up to 20 A when summable, corresponding to a 130 VA rating. A 2 A slow-blow fuse protects the module, and local signaling includes a PWR OK LED. The module weighs approximately 0.65 kg. It is designed to power the Quantum I/O backplane's CPU and I/O sections, and remains in use in legacy Quantum installations in process industries such as steam and water treatment and in packaging lines, where a reliable 5 V supply is required for the backplane and related modules.
