Schneider Electric's 140CRA93100 Remote I/O Drop Module is a single-channel remote I/O (RIO) adaptor for Modicon Quantum systems, serving as the drop-side interface that connects one remote I/O point to the Quantum Remote I/O network. In Quantum architecture it pairs with a head-end module such as 140CRP93100 (and 140CRP93200 in redundant configurations) to form a complete RIO link. The 140CRA93100 uses one connector with a single cable and requires a bus current of about 600 mA to operate, making it suitable for compact remote installations where a single field device needs direct integration into the Quantum I/O ring.
