Schmersal TZG01.110 Safety Electromechanical Switch

The TZG01/110 is a compact electromechanical safety interlock switch from Schmersal, designed to guard access to hazardous machine zones. It provides two normally closed safety contacts with slow-action switching and a maximum actuating speed of 0.2 m/s, ensuring safe guard cycling. Housed in a glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic enclosure, the unit is IP67 rated and measures 50 mm wide by 39.5 mm deep by 106.5 mm tall (sensor width 50 mm and sensor height 39.5 mm). It terminates via screw terminals for 0.5–2.5 mm² conductors and supports Ui 400 V, Uimp 2.5 kV, with AC-15 up to 230 VAC at 8 A and DC-13 up to 24 VDC at 5 A. Compliance covers EN IEC 60947-5-1 and EN ISO 13849-1, with a Low coding level per EN ISO 14119. Durability specs include a mechanical lifetime of at least 1,000,000 operations and B10D lifetimes up to 2,000,000 operations for NC contacts and 1,000,000 operations for the additional channel.
