Schmersal TZFWN24VDC Safety Switch is a solenoid interlock designed to securely interlock safety guards on machines, offering four actuating directions and two safety contacts plus two auxiliary contacts for reliable safe-stop signaling. It operates from a 24 VDC control voltage and features a glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic enclosure rated IP65/IP67 for tough industrial environments. The compact unit measures 41 mm in length, 129 mm in width, and 92.5 mm in height, mounts with three M6 screws, and uses a single M20 x 1.5 cable entry with screw terminals for 0.5–1.5 mm² conductors. It provides a holding force of 1,500 N and a latching force of 20 N, with a positive break travel of 3.5 mm and an actuating speed up to 0.3 m/s. Electrical data include a rated control voltage of 24 VDC, DC-13 and AC-15 load ratings up to 4 A, a rated insulation voltage of 250 VAC, and an impulse withstand voltage of 2.5 kV, aligning with EN ISO 13849-1 up to Performance Level c and Category 1.
