The Schmersal TL422-01Y heavy‑duty limit switch is a rugged industrial interlock device designed around a single normally closed (NC) contact for safety and control applications, rated for insulation up to 400 V and a thermal current of 16 A on AC‑15 circuits. Housed in a grey cast iron, galvanised enclosure with IP65 protection, it employs M20 x 1.5 screw terminals and accepts 1.5–2.5 mm² cables.
