Schmersal SRB-E-212ST Safety Relay Module

Schmersal SRB-E-212ST is a compact, multi-function safety relay module that centralizes safety-sensor monitoring and signaling, delivering two safety contacts and one signaling output for safety-critical applications such as E-stops, safety interlocks, and guarded doors. It provides advanced self-checking features, including wire-breakage and cross-circuit detection, a start input, feedback circuit, automatic reset with reset-edge detection, earth-connection detection, and built-in integral diagnostics with a 6-LED status indication. Certified for EN IEC 61508, EN IEC 62061 and EN ISO 13849-1, the SRB-E-212ST offers PL e / SIL 3 safety integrity, with DC-12 24 V logic inputs, and a PFH of 1.25E-8/h as well as a PFD of 5.3E-5, and a nominal mission time of 20 years. On the power side, the safe relay outputs support up to 6 A at 250 VAC or 4 A at 24 VDC, with additional digital outputs and signaling options, while input conduction resistance is specified at ≤40 ohms; the unit is designed for removable terminals for easy field wiring.
