Schmersal SE-100 C is a safety-monitoring module that supervises optoelectronic safety edges in the SE 40/70 family when used with the SE-SET sensor kit. It can monitor one or two safety edges and supports operation up to Performance Level c and Category 1; when only a single edge is used, the S12/S22 terminals must be bridged, and the manual reset function, if required, is implemented by the machine control. The unit complies with EN ISO 13856-2:2013, EN ISO 13849-1:2023, and EN 12978:2003 + A1:2009, with EC-type examination by TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH (ID 0035).
