Schmersal BNS36-11ZG-ST-L Safety Interlock Switch

Schmersal BNS 36-11ZG-ST-L is a coded safety-sensor interlock (magnetic drive) from the BNS 36 family, designed for left-hinged, flush-mount door interlocks on safeguarding applications and compatible with Schmersal SRB‑E safety-monitoring modules. It provides two safety contacts (1 NC and 1 NO) on a 24 V DC supply, with a maximum switching current of 0.01 A and switching power up to 0.24 W, and it includes an integrated status LED for diagnostics. The compact housing measures 88 × 25 × 13 mm and uses a glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic enclosure rated IP67, with a magnet actuating element and a switching distance of 7 mm ON / 17 mm OFF, tolerant of axial misalignment and soiling. It features an M8, 4‑pole connector (screw terminal or snap fitting), weighs about 38 g, and operates from -25 to +70 °C, with an expected mission time of around 20 years.
