Schmersal BNS33-12Z Magnetic Safety Sensor 100V

Schmersal BNS33-12Z is a coded magnetic safety sensor designed for safety interlock use on movable machine guards and robot arms, intended to be used with safety-monitoring modules such as SRB(-E), PROTECT-SELECT, or PSC1 to meet EN 60947-5-3. The common BNS33-12Z family variant (2187-2M) provides 1NO/2NC contacts, a 2 m cable, and a maximum switching voltage of 100 V, in a compact 13 mm-long housing with an IP67-rated enclosure for harsh industrial environments. The sensor operates via magnetic drive with a coded actuator, delivering reliable interlock signaling when the guard is closed, and is typically paired with Schmersal safety controllers to monitor guard status and safely stop machinery when protection is breached.
