The Schmersal BNS 260-02Z-ST-L is a coded magnetic safety interlock sensor designed to secure access to machinery. As a member of the BNS 260 family, it provides two normally closed safety outputs (NC x2) and features an IP67-rated enclosure for dependable operation in harsh environments. The device uses an M8 electrical connection and is described as a coded safety-sensor with magnetic operating principle. It is intended to be used with Schmersal SRB(-E), PROTECT-SELECT, PSC1 safety-monitoring modules, or equivalent safety controllers to meet EN 60947-5-3 safety standards.
