Schmersal AZM 161SK-12/12RK-110/230 is a solenoid interlock switch engineered to secure safety guards on industrial equipment, preventing guard opening while a hazard may be present. The unit is built with a glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic housing (self-extinguishing) inside a thermoplastic enclosure, offering a compact 130 mm x 90 mm x 30 mm footprint and six electrical contacts for safe lock/unlock signaling. It features a large wiring compartment, a manual release, and four M16 x 1.5 cable entries for flexible installation in tight panels. It complies with EN IEC 60947-5-1, EN ISO 13849-1, and EN ISO 14119, with a Low coding level and double insulation to enhance safety reliability, and is approved CCC and cULus for broad market use.
