Schmersal AZ16-ZI-M16 Mechanical Limit Switch

The Schmersal AZ16-ZI-M16 is a safety switch from the AZ16 family engineered for machine guarding, featuring a separate actuator (ZI) and a 16 mm M16 cable-entry version. It supports multiple contact configurations, including 1 NO/1 NC, 2 NC, 3 NC, and 1 NO + 2 NC, with LED indication (G24) available only on the 1 NO/1 NC variant. Wiring and installation options are flexible: it can be ordered with a M12 4‑pole connector in the bottom, left, or right positions (ST, STL, STR) or with a direct cable entry (M16 or M20). Some variants use gold-plated contacts (2.2) for enhanced reliability.
