Schmersal AES2135-24VAC Safety Controller

Schmersal's AES2135 safety controller is a compact safety-monitoring module designed to supervise a single safety function within control cabinets. It accepts a supply range of 24 VAC/DC to 230 VAC/DC, enabling compatibility with common industrial power architectures, and is intended for integration in safety circuits around guarding devices such as safety switches and protective sensors. The unit provides one safety contact and two signaling outputs to convey safe- or fault-condition status to the controller, with automatic reset (auto-rearm) to simplify restart after a fault. Its enclosure measures 45 mm wide by 100 mm high by 121 mm deep and uses screw terminals suitable for 0.25–2.5 mm² conductors, supporting reliable field wiring. This module is designed for safe, self-checking monitoring of safety devices in machine-guarding architectures and is commonly used to supervise protective devices on equipment like conveyors, presses, and packaging lines.
