Schmersal 52330601 S900 Tensioner
Schmersal 52330601 S900 Tensioner
Description:
Schmersal 52330601 S900 Tensioner is a dedicated tensioning unit for the S900 cable-pull switch system, enabling quick and reliable pre‑tensioning and fixing of the wire rope that actuates the pull-wire switch. The assembly includes a red PVC‑sheath pull‑wire (Ø 5 mm, steel core Ø 3 mm), an eyebolt, a nut, a shackle, and a tension spring, with the tensioner designed to be mounted so the entire length of the wire remains visible from the switch position. Tension is set by rotating the front screw against the clamping block to achieve the required rope tension, and the pendant that engages the tensioner must be 5–6 mm in diameter (a shackle can be used as an adapter). Typical dimensions shown in Schmersal operating instructions place the tensioner around 150 mm long with a height of about 36.6 mm, alongside the other pull‑wire components. For environmental stability, Schmersal also notes that a tension spring (ACC‑RS900‑TS) can be used to reduce temperature‑related tension variation, and when installing along longer runs, wire supports are recommended every 3–5 meters to prevent resonance and ensure reliable operation.
