Schmalz SGM-HT-HP 50 G1/4-IG is a magnetic sheet-gripper designed to handle metal sheets with holes, a specialized variant in the SGM-HP/HT family that ships assembled and ready to integrate into automation cells for punching, laser-cutting, or stacking perforated workpieces. It uses a G1/4 threaded socket and operates within a pressure range of 2.5 to 6.0 bar, enabling reliable vacuum-actuated grip and precise control in standard industrial picking and placing cycles. Holding force varies with the contact surface and friction ring configuration: up to 520 N without friction, or 330 N with the optional friction ring, providing a robust hold for hole-pattern sheet metal without excessive wear on the surface.
