Schaffner FN3100-230-40 Power Line Filter

The FN3100-230-40 is a 230 A three-phase, delta-configured power line filter in a chassis-mount, book-style housing with input and output terminal blocks, designed for demanding motor-drive and power-conversion applications. It supports up to 3×520 V (line-to-line) and 3×300 V (line-to-neutral) and operates from DC to 60 Hz, delivering broadband EMI/RFI attenuation—including low-frequency performance down to 10 kHz—to suppress conducted interference from long motor cables and multiple drives. Built for industrial environments, it carries a touch-safe EN 60204-1-compliant terminal block design, IP20 protection, and flame rating UL 94 V-2 or better, with certifications to UL 1283, CSA 22.2 No. 8, and IEC/EN 60939. The unit tolerates up to 4× rated current at switch-on and 1.5× rated current for 1 minute (once per hour), and provides robust test voltages of 2750 VDC (P→E) and 2250 VDC (P→P) for short-duration high-potential testing.
