Sauter KS-106A Differential Pressure Vacuum Switch

The Sauter KS-106A Differential Pressure Vacuum Switch is a compact, reliable device designed to monitor differential pressure across liquids, gases and vapours and trigger a switch when a user-set threshold is reached. It covers differential-pressure setting ranges from 0.06 to 6 bar (with common variants such as 0.06–0.6 bar, 0.10–1.0 bar, 0.25–2.5 bar, and 0.6–6.01 bar) and is capable of handling both positive and negative pressures up to 16 bar, making it suitable for vacuum monitoring as well as pressure sensing. The unit uses a G 1/8" female connection, weighs about 0.2 kg, and comes with 1 m of fixed wiring rated for 3–0.5 mm² conductors, and mounting is facilitated by a dedicated bracket. Electrical loads are AC min 0.1 A/250 VAC (25 VA) and DC min 0.1 A/30 VDC, with maximums of AC 3 A/250 VAC (250 VA) and DC 0.4 A/30 VDC. It operates in ambient temperatures from −10 to 70 °C and supports media temperatures from 0 to 80 °C for non-freezing media, with chromium-nickel steel (1.4310) diaphragms. The product is IP65 protected, CE-conforming under the Low-Voltage and EMC directives, and rated for altitudes up to 2000 m. Designed for neutral media such as heating water, neutral gases and oils, this KS-106A is well suited to filter monitoring, plant and machine engineering applications where precise, repeatable switching at defined differential pressures is required.
