Samson Controls SAMSON-416 Pneumatic Indicator

SAMSON-416 is a Series 420, Type 3416 pneumatic indicator from Samson Controls, designed as a panel-mounted display for pneumatic process signals. The instrument accepts two or four input signals in the 0.2 to 1.0 bar (3 to 15 psi) range and shows measured values and setpoints on a 100 mm long linear scale; some variants also provide a second scale, for two displays or two sets of limits. Front frame size is 72 x 144 mm and the unit can be mounted in racks with a total installation depth of 260 mm (180 mm mounted depth) or 400 mm (320 mm mounted depth), depending on model. Depending on version (for example 3416-12/22, 13/23, 14/24, 16/26, 18/28, and 90/91), the indicator may include limit switches—inductive limit switches on the left scale in several double-indicator configurations—or pneumatic/electrical outputs. The indicator is rated for an ambient range of –20 to +60 °C and weighs about 1.4 to 2.2 kg depending on variant. The system carries an accuracy of ≤1% of the scale length (class 1) and a switching accuracy of ≤1.5% for limit-switch variants; the device is intended to display pneumatic signals (including temperature or pressure) and to trigger alarms or feed central monitoring when a set limit is reached.
