SAIA-Burgess Controls PCD4.B900 Digital Module

SAIA-Burgess Controls PCD4.B900 is a 16-input, 16-output digital I/O module for SAIA PCD4 controllers, designed to double the I/O capacity in the same form factor. It operates from a nominal 24 VDC supply; inputs are 24 VDC (smoothed or pulsed) drawing about 8 mA per input, while outputs are 16 source-operated channels that can source 5–500 mA each, with a total module current rating of 6 A (UL rating max 4.5 A) and a minimum load impedance of 48 Ω per output. The B900 variant uses screw-terminal connections on the bus module for inputs and front-mounted pluggable screws for outputs, and provides a typical input delay of 9 ms; inputs and outputs use the same addressing, so commands such as OUT, SET, RES or BITO(R) and DIGO(R) may be used for the outputs. The PCD4.B900/B901 family members differ in speed, with B901 offering a faster ~0.4 ms input delay. This digital I/O module is intended for industrial automation applications requiring reliable digital signals from sensors and actuators to be controlled alongside SAIA PCD4 PLCs in compact DIN-rail panel installations.
