Saginaw Control & Engineering SCE-36EL2416LP Enclosure

The Saginaw Control & Engineering SCE-36EL2416LP is a 36 x 24 x 16 inch Enviroline wall-mount enclosure designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments, and components while protecting them from dust, oil, and water. Constructed from 0.075 inch carbon steel, its seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, with a flange trough collar around the door opening and a pour-in-place oil- and water-resistant gasket. Features include concealed hinges, removable and interchangeable doors with black quarter-turn latches (operated by a screwdriver), back mounting holes, ground studs on both door and body, and a removable print pocket when dimensions exceed 12 inches in height or width; collar studs (3/8-16) are provided for mounting optional panels. The enclosure is finished in ANSI-61 gray powder coating inside and out, with optional white powder-coated sub-panels available. It carries NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and Type 13 ratings and UL Listed Type 3R, 4 and 12, CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, and IEC 60529 with an IP66 rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. For outdoor use, a drip shield and drain vent are recommended to maintain environmental protection.
