Saftronics CA403-3 Multiple Input Output Card

The CA403-3 is a Saftronics multiple input/output add‑on card that expands a Saftronics control rack with a mixed I/O set: three 12‑bit bipolar analog inputs, four digital inputs, two 12‑bit bipolar analog outputs, two digital Form C relay outputs, and a fixed +10 V output. It supports two digital input supply models—B for 24 VDC and D for 120 VAC—allowing you to match the card to field wiring. Addressing is configured via four dip switches (SB3) to create a 4‑bit card address from 0 to 15; A0 is the least significant bit, and when a switch is ON it contributes 0 to the address, while OFF contributes 1, 2, 4, or 8 (A0–A3). This scheme lets you install multiple CA403 cards in the same rack with unique addresses.
