MC6DC-0026 Safety Mat Controller is a 24 VDC, six-zone safety mat controller that consolidates up to six presence-sensing mats to provide a single pair of controlled safety outputs for perimeter guarding around automated equipment. On the DC variant you can select either relay or solid-state safety outputs (two safety outputs plus two auxiliary outputs), and a mat zone reaching the 66 lb (30 kg) activation threshold causes the safety outputs to switch to Off to stop the machine. Weighing about 9 lb (4.1 kg) and designed for chassis mounting, it features six digital mat inputs, an IP65-rated enclosure, and an operating range of 0–55°C with a 24V supply. The MC6DC-0026 carries Category 3 safety certification under EN ISO 13849-1 (EN150 13849-1:2008) with CE, CSA, and TUV approvals, and is commonly used to guard robot cells and automated manufacturing lines using four-wire Omron STI UM/UMQ safety mats.
