Safety Technology International ER1032-042NEL Safety Switch

ER1032-042NEL is a rugged rope-pull safety switch designed for machine guarding along long cable runs. This Omron STI device features 6PST contacts with 4 normally closed safety contacts and 2 normally open auxiliary contacts, rated for up to 6 A at 120 V AC (2.5 A at DC), making it suitable for demanding safety circuits on conveyors and other industrial equipment. The enclosure is IP67-rated for washdown environments, and the rope span supports up to 100 meters in each direction (up to 200 meters total), enabling distant actuation from the remote end of a line. An integrated emergency stop mechanism at the rope end provides a direct stop capability at the installation point and aids maintenance, while a tension indicator helps verify correct rope setup. An optional indicator beacon is available to signal trip or reset status and can operate from either 24 V DC or 120 V AC power. Typical applications include remote emergency stopping on material handling systems, packaging lines, and other safety-critical machinery where a rope-pull switch is advantageous.
