Robertshaw RA-91-36 Thermostat

Robertshaw RA-91-36 (5430-091) is a domestic thermostat from Robertshaw, with RA-91-36 and 5430-091 designations referring to the same component. It is documented in Robertshaw catalogs and repair-part references as Obsolete, a status echoed in third-party catalogs such as UED.net, which lists 5430-091 as OBSOLETE. In online marketplaces, listings identify the part as 5430-091/RA-91-36 and occasionally describe it as NEW, underscoring its provenance as a legacy component used in older residential heating systems. The designation "domestic thermostat" signals its role as a home-heating control device rather than a modern programmable unit; however, current sources do not publish contemporary electrical specifications, temperature ranges, or compatibility details for this discontinued model. As a vintage Robertshaw part, RA-91-36/5430-091 is primarily of interest for legacy repairs or restoration projects where period-correct components are required to maintain original equipment.
