RKC Instrument REX-C40 Temperature Controller
RKC Instrument REX-C40 Temperature Controller
Description:
The RKC Instrument REX-C40 Temperature Controller is a compact digital controller from the REX-C Century family designed to regulate process temperatures in industrial heating and cooling applications. It uses a 1/8‑DIN, panel‑mount form factor and operates from a 100–240 VAC supply with 50/60 Hz compatibility. The unit accepts a broad range of sensor inputs, including thermocouples (K, J, T, S, R, E, B, N, W5Re/W26Re) and RTD types (PL II, U, L), enabling precise measurement across diverse processes. Some variants of the series extend into two‑channel configurations, such as the REX-C40FPC‑M2CH, indicating multiple control loops in one enclosure. The Century family is documented alongside other models like the REX-C100, REX-C400, REX-C410, REX-C700, and REX-C900, offering a spectrum of options for different control needs. In operation, the REX-C40 compares the sensor input to a user‑setpoint and delivers a control signal to drive external heating or cooling devices, delivering reliable, real‑time temperature regulation for applications such as ovens, furnaces, reactors, and other process environments where stable temperature control is essential.
