RJG LS-B-127-125 Digital Strain Gage Sensor Module
RJG LS-B-127-125 Digital Strain Gage Sensor Module
Description:
RJG LS-B-127-125 Lynx digital strain gage sensor is a single-channel, indirect (under-the-pin) cavity-pressure sensor with a 125 lb full-scale range and a 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) button-style sensing element placed behind the ejector pin. The strain-gage element feeds into the Lynx electronics, converting the pressure signal into a high-accuracy digital output that works with RJG eDART or CoPilot process-control software, and the sensor reports its model, serial number, full-scale load, and calibration data automatically. Key specs include an accuracy of ±0.5% of full scale, standard sensor head temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) and a hi-temperature version to 425°F (218°C), and a case-temperature rating of 140°F (60°C). Cable lengths are available in standard 0.2 m, 0.4 m, 0.6 m, 0.8 m, 1.2 m, 1.6 m, and 2.0 m; custom lengths are available but are non-returnable and non-cancellable, with longer cables incurring a $50 charge. Minimum effective length is 3 inches (about 0.076 m), and installation generally recommends 2–3 inches of slack to avoid tension on the lead wire. The LS-B-127-125 is designed for injection-molding applications, where the 0.5-inch cavity-pressure sensor behind the ejector pin delivers direct feedback for process optimization via the eDART or CoPilot systems.
