Rixson FM998FL Fire Alarm TriVoltage Power Supply

Rixson FM998FL is a UL/ULC-listed electromagnetic door holder designed to hold fire and smoke barrier doors open and release them when the fire alarm system is activated or a remote release is triggered. The tri-voltage model accepts 120 VAC, 24 VAC/DC, or 12 VDC input and uses concealed wiring in a standard 2" x 4" x 1-3/4" outlet box on a properly reinforced wall. It provides 25–40 lb of holding force and projects 3-5/8" from the mounting surface, making it suitable for most hollow-core and metal fire doors in commercial settings. The unit mounts flush to the wall and is offered in finishes such as sprayed aluminum (628). It is designed for self-closing door assemblies and carries ANSI/C0011 standards compliance in addition to UL/ULC listings, reflecting its intended role in life-safety door releases integrated with fire alarm systems. When used in facilities with mixed voltages, the tri-voltage capability can simplify installation by accommodating multiple supply voltages without a separate power supply.
