RfN 7013.1 Locking Assembly by Ringfeder is a stainless‑steel flange‑type device that axially fixes a hub against an extended flange to prevent movement during tightening, delivering precise concentricity and straightforward disassembly. It fixes the hub with positive alignment, making it ideal for self‑centering action and tight run‑out in hubs with through bores, and it supports high‑speed operation and elevated radial loads. The inch‑series accommodates shaft diameters from 1" to 4" and the metric-series from 20 mm to 150 mm, so a 2"–style size sits within the available range. The assembly ships slightly oiled and ready‑to‑use, with shaft and bore surface finishes specified to Ra ≈ 1.6 μm and tolerance classes h8 for shafts and H8 for hubs. The flange is reinforced at a critical point to resist bending or lifting of the inner ring during assembly, improving run‑out and enabling higher torque transmission. When multiple RFN 7013.1 units are used, the greater number of clamping screws maintains the same transmission values as RFN 7013.0 configurations, expanding viable torque ranges without sacrificing concentricity.
