Reliance Electric DC1-70U DC Motor Controller

Reliance Electric DC1-70U is a compact, enclosed DC motor drive in the DC1 family that provides variable-speed control for shunt-wound DC motors. It is designed for 1.0 to 2.0 HP operation and can be configured via a reconnectable jumper. The drive accepts single-phase input of 115 or 230 VAC at 50/60 Hz and delivers 90 to 180 VDC at up to 12.5 A to the motor's armature, with integrated field control. It is housed in a NEMA 1 / NEMA 12 (fully enclosed) enclosure and includes remote start/stop capability and internal motor thermostat protection for overload safety. The DC1-70U supports armature control with full-wave, half-controlled operation and provides DC field ratings of 50/100; it is intended for use with shunt-wound DC motors, offering unidirectional operation with coast-to-rest stop.
