Reliance Electric 57C417 Interface Module

The Reliance Electric 57C417 AutoMate Interface Module is a dedicated interface device that bridges an AutoMax rack to AutoMate automation equipment over RS-232 using the AutoMate Communication Protocol. It can connect to an R‑Net Gateway Interface Head (45C27 or 45C28) for access to the R‑Net network, to a Serial Communication Processor (45C203) to coordinate with multiple AutoMate processors, or directly to an AutoMate Processor, enabling flexible integration within a single rack or across devices. When linked to operator interfaces such as ShopMax or PanelMax via RS‑232, the 57C417 operates as a slave, responding to commands rather than initiating communication.
