Reliable Controls MPZ84 MACH-ProZone Advanced Unitary Controller is a compact, fully programmable BACnet Building Controller (B-BC) designed for small rooftop units, heat pumps, and mechanical rooms. The MPZ84 delivers 8 universal inputs and 4 universal outputs with jumper-selectable relay configuration, and ships with removable terminal blocks along with support for up to eight SMART devices. Inputs are software-selectable among thermistor/dry contact, 4–20 mA, or 0–10 VDC (12-bit A/D, impedance per range), while outputs can be configured for standard signaling or solid-state relay drive via a simple jumper. It can run on 24 VAC (±10%, up to 25 VA, 50/60 Hz) or 24 VDC (±10%, up to 12 W). A 66 MHz 32‑bit processor and onboard Flash memory power a programmable control strategy, with 16,000 bytes for control programs and 3,200 bytes per program, plus battery-backed memory for 3 days of data. Networking includes BACnet MS/TP, an RS-485 port, and two SMART-Net ports (RJ11 and 4‑wire terminal block) supporting up to eight devices, with firmware updates possible over the network. The Dynamic Database supports up to 160 objects, and the device includes runtime logging, trend logs, and scheduling features to monitor and optimize systems.
