RC System SENSMART-6000 Gas Module

The SenSmart 6000 fixed gas detector from RC Systems is an Ethernet‑enabled gas detection platform built around RC Systems’ ST‑44 transmitter, engineered to monitor toxics, combustibles, VOCs, and oxygen with interchangeable sensor heads. It provides a 3‑wire 4–20 mA output per channel, standard Ethernet, and optional Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP via a relay module for alarm signaling and integration with control systems. A color LCD graphics display presents real‑time gas concentrations locally, while support for electrochemical, catalytic bead, infrared, and photoionization sensors enables detection of hundreds of gases and vapors. Remote sensing is possible via an RS‑485 option up to 4,000 feet, facilitating scalable leak monitoring across facilities. The enclosure options include a cast aluminum explosion‑proof (NEMA 7) version for hazardous environments and a polycarbonate alternative for non‑hazardous locations. The system is designed to accommodate dual local sensor heads with a Y‑adaptor in configurations that require multiple sensing points, and RC Systems provides installation guidance for remote sensor setups.
