Raytek RAYMI310LTSCB3 is a miniature infrared sensing head with a 3 m cable designed to work with the MI3 communication box system. It offers 10:1 optics and measures surface temperatures from -40 to 600°C (-40 to 1112°F) with a rapid 130 ms response time and a 22:1 optical resolution, making it suitable for precise temperature monitoring on small targets. The rugged, silicone- and halogen-free cable is resistant to oil, bases, and acids and can operate in ambient conditions up to 120°C without cooling, minimizing the need for external cooling in many industrial settings. This MI3 two‑piece system consists of the sensing head paired with a MI3COMM or MI3MCOMM communications module, enabling fieldbus interfaces such as RS-485, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, and Modbus, along with four analog output channels for the communication box. A dedicated close-focus lens is available separately to achieve spot sizes down to 0.02" (0.5 mm), expanding its use in tight or detail-oriented measurements. Ideal for OEM and manufacturing environments, the RAYMI310LTSCB3 supports reliable measurement in moving installations like robotic arms, linear drives, and conveyors, while the 3 m lead helps reduce cable bending and movement-related measurement disturbances.
