The Raytek RAYFR1ACF203C is a Marathon Series FR1 fiber-optic infrared thermometer that measures extremely hot targets by coupling a 3 m fiber-optic probe to a remote electronics housing for safe, flexible placement in harsh or confined environments. It uses a 1 µm spectral response to capture high-temperature radiation and covers a broad range from 500°C to 2500°C (932°F to 4532°F), with an optical resolution of up to 65:1 to help resolve small, distant hot spots. The fiber-optic assembly is rated IP65 and is designed to withstand temperatures up to 200°C, enabling reliable operation in dusty, wet, or heat-intensive conditions. This model is intended for applications where direct head access is impractical, offering accurate infrared measurements from the remote electronics unit in high-temperature processes such as metalworking, glass and ceramics processing, or other industrial tasks that benefit from fiber-coupled temperature sensing.
