Raychem JBS-100-A Power Connection Kit Junction Box

The Raychem JBS-100-A Power Connection Kit with Junction Box is a single-entry power connection solution designed to feed a single Raychem heating cable (BTV, QTVR, XTVR, HTV or VPL) and house the terminations in a rugged, NEMA 4X–rated junction box. The rugged stand protects the cable and allows for up to four inches (100 mm) of thermal insulation, reducing heat loss and simplifying installation. It uses a cold-applied core sealer that does not require a heat gun or torch, so no hot-work permit is needed, and the silicone-free, noncuring sealant allows easy re-entry for maintenance. Spring clamp terminals enable fast, secure connections, and the kit includes two M25 threaded entries, one stopping plug, and one plastic power cable gland; multiple versions exist (including JBS-100-A and LED-equipped JBS-100-L variants) to fit local practices, with an LED option that indicates when power is applied. The JBS-100-A is designed for use with Raychem heating cables in hazardous locations and is certified for such environments with FM, CSA, PTB and IEx approvals; it is described as a NEMA 4X enclosure, ensuring protection against moisture, corrosion, and dust. The kit accommodates up to 6 AWG power conductors and includes most installation components except for a single pipe strap ordered separately for mounting.
