Raritan UMT832 KVM Switch

Raritan Paragon II UMT832 Main Switching Unit (P2-UMT832M) is an 8-user, 32-server-port CAT5 analog KVM switch that delivers non-blocked access for up to eight concurrent user stations to a pool of 32 servers. The unit includes an expansion slot, a dedicated stacking port, and a network port for integration into larger Paragon II configurations, and it supports CIMs for PS/2, USB, and Sun consoles—such as P2CIM-APS2, P2CIM-AUSB, P2CIM-ASUN, P2CIM-AUSBDUAL, P2CIM-APS2DUAL, P2CIM-APS2-B, P2CIM-AUSB-B, P2CIM-AUSB-C, and P2ZCIM-PS2/USB. Physically, the main unit measures 17.32 inches wide, 11.41 inches deep, and 1.75 inches high (440 × 290 × 44 mm) and weighs about 9.83 pounds (4.46 kg). It operates on 100–240 V AC with 50/60 Hz input and draws approximately 0.6 A. For greater port counts, Paragon II stacking units such as the P2-UMT832S add up to 32 expansion server ports and share the same 17.32 × 11.41 × 1.75 inch footprint (approximately 440 × 290 × 44 mm) with a 0.6 A draw. Together, these components provide scalable, CAT5-based KVM access to multiple servers from multiple administration stations in data centers and enterprise IT rooms.
