ProSoft Technology ILX34-MBS485 Modbus Serial Interface Module

ILX34-MBS485 is an in-chassis Modbus Serial Interface Module from ProSoft Technology that plugs into CompactLogix L1 controllers and 1734 Point I/O adapters to provide Modbus RTU communications over RS-485. It enables Modbus master or slave operation to exchange data with Modbus devices on the same RS-485 network, enabling direct integration of Modbus devices with a Rockwell Automation ecosystem. The module supports long-distance field connections, with recommended reach up to 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) between the controller and endpoint devices, depending on line conditions and topology.
