Allen-Bradley 1769-IF4FXOF2F Analog Input Module
Allen-Bradley 1769-IF4FXOF2F Analog Input Module
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1769-IF4FXOF2F is a CompactLogix high-speed analog I/O module that combines four analog input channels with two analog outputs in a single 1769 I/O slot, enabling rapid sensing and control in industrial automation. The input section supports four differential or single-ended channels with selectable ranges including ±10 V, 0–10 V, 0–5 V, and 1–5 V, as well as 0–21 mA or 3.2–21 mA for current loops; the analog-to-digital converter is a SAR device with 14-bit resolution (unipolar) or 14-bit with sign (bipolar). The module is rated for 30 V AC/DC working voltage and provides isolation up to 500 V AC or 710 V DC for 1 minute, with ±10 V DC input common-mode range per channel and >70 dB common-mode rejection at 50 Hz/60 Hz with the 10 Hz filter. Input impedance is 250 Ω for current inputs and 220 kΩ for voltage inputs; typical accuracy is ±0.2% FS for current and ±0.15% FS for voltage at 25 °C, with temperature drift of ±0.0045%/°C (current) and ±0.003%/°C (voltage), and nonlinearity ±0.03% with repeatability ±0.03% and module error of ±0.3% (current) or ±0.2% (voltage). Overload limits are ±32 mA for current and ±30 V for voltage. Filter options range from 5 Hz to 1000 Hz, with channel step responses from 802 ms at 5 Hz down to 5 ms at 1000 Hz, allowing designers to trade speed for noise reduction. The two output channels provide analog signaling for drive or control applications, making this module suitable for fast data acquisition, machine sensing, and process monitoring within CompactLogix-based control architectures.
