Allen-Bradley 1746-NI4 Analog Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-NI4 is a four-channel, high-resolution analog input module for the SLC 500 family. It provides four non-isolated differential input channels with voltage or current signals selectable per channel, and presents data as 16-bit two’s-complement words updated in parallel in 512 microseconds. The module offers 500 V DC isolation between field wiring and the backplane, uses a removable terminal block, and supports conductors up to #14 AWG. It is factory calibrated and designed for use in SLC 500 racks, drawing power from the backplane and interfacing via the standard SLC I/O backplane network. As part of the 1746 analog I/O lineup, the NI4 is typically used to acquire sensor and transducer signals in automation and process-control applications, delivering multi-channel, precise analog input for monitoring and control tasks.
