Omron E2E-X5ME1 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Omron E2E-X5ME1 inductive proximity sensor provides non-contact metal detection for industrial automation, delivering reliable position sensing on CNC machines, conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and automated production lines. Operating from 12–24 VDC (10–30 VDC range), it offers a 3-wire NPN normally open output up to 200 mA, a 5 mm sensing distance, and a 400 Hz response, all housed in a cylindrical M12 package with pre-wired 2 m cable and unshielded, non-flush mounting. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT sensing face, the sensor is IP67 protected and rated for -40°C to 85°C, detecting ferrous metals with reduced sensitivity to non-ferrous targets, and it includes a built-in LED indicator for quick status checks.
