Description:
The Omron MC4-1006 Safety Mat Controller (43815-1006) is a Category 3 safety device that interlocks a four-wire safety-mat system to govern machine start/stop. It accepts either auto-select 100-240 VAC or 24 VDC input (<3 W) and provides four safety outputs (2 normally open and 2 normally closed) rated up to 6 A at 230 VAC (up to 1500 VA) with a response time under 0.030 seconds. Indicators show Green=Mat Clear, Green=Run, and Red=Stop, and a user-supplied reset (pushbutton or key switch) can reset the interlock. Encased in a 14-gauge steel housing, IP65-rated and screw-mountable to machinery, it weighs about 9 lb, making it suitable for rugged industrial environments.
