The AutomationDirect AE6-AN-4A is an 8 mm diameter short‑body inductive proximity sensor for DC operation. Designed to detect metal targets without physical contact, it uses an unshielded tubular housing and provides a normally open (NO) NPN output. With a sensing distance of up to 4 mm from the face, this device is intended for compact installations where space is at a premium.
