Description:
The Mitsubishi Electric FX2N-2LC PLC Temperature Control Module is a dual‑channel temperature controller expansion module for FX1N/FX2N/FX3U PLCs, delivering precise temperature regulation with PID (auto‑tuning), PI, or ON/OFF control. It provides two temperature input channels (thermocouples K/J/R/S or Pt100/JPt100 RTDs) and two transistor outputs, powered by 24 V DC, with optocoupler isolation between inputs and the PLC. Typical applications include plastic molding machines, packaging equipment, heating processes, injection molding, and other temperature‑sensitive industrial environments requiring stable thermal control. Mounting is DIN rail or PLC expansion mounting, and the unit operates with a control cycle of approximately 500 ms.
