The Mitsubishi Electric FX-EEPROM-8 is a non-volatile memory cassette for MELSEC-FX series PLCs that stores and retains user programs and data. It plugs directly into compatible PLC units to provide secure backup storage and allows the PLC to execute the program directly from the EEPROM, with no separate power supply required. Specifications include up to 8,000 steps of program capacity, EEPROM non-volatile memory, and operation in approximately -10 °C to 50 °C (storage -20 °C to 60 °C); it is compatible with MELSEC-FX Series PLCs (FX1N, FX2N, etc.) and mounts as a plug-in cassette to the PLC.
