Mitsubishi Electric AX42 Digital Input Module

The Mitsubishi AX42 Digital Input Module is a 64-point sink-input I/O unit for MELSEC-A series PLCs, designed to monitor digital signals from sensors and control equipment in automation panels. It accepts 12–24 V DC inputs with an input current of 3 mA at 12 V or 7 mA at 24 V, organized as two 32-point commons with a 40-pin connector for installation in an A-series base unit rack. With photocoupler isolation and an operating temperature range of 0 to 50°C, it supports factory automation tasks such as sensor input monitoring, limit switch detection, pushbutton signals, machine interlocks, and conveyor or packaging line control. Common replacement options include Mitsubishi AX41, AX40, and A1SX42.
