RKC 40/9 is Lumberg Automation's 7/8" field-attachable power connector, a four‑pole (3 power + PE) female socket designed for rugged industrial use. This straight, unshielded mating connector uses a coupling nut with external threads and a PG9 cable gland to support up to 1.5 mm² conductors while operating at 230 V AC/DC and rated for 250 V AC/DC, up to 9 A. The black PA66 housing provides IP67 protection when mounted and locked in combination with a compatible Hirschmann/Lumberg connector, and the unit operates from -40 °C to +90 °C; it is RoHS compliant, with contact resistance ≤ 10 mΩ and insulation resistance > 1 GΩ.
