Schneider Electric TeSys D LC1D40 Contactor is a 3-pole motor-contactor designed for AC-3/AC-3e motor-control duty and rated at 40 A, with a nonreversing, 3 NO configuration for reliable motor starting and stopping in industrial panels. The family is available with coil variants to suit different control voltages, including the LC1D40AT7 version with a 120 V AC coil (50/60 Hz) and the LC1D40AX7 version with a 600 V AC coil, enabling broad integration with diverse control circuits. In typical configurations, the LC1D40AT7 can switch motors up to 30 HP at 480 VAC, while the AX7 maintains the 40 A load rating and can provide a short-circuit current rating up to 100 kA SCCR. Wiring employs screw-clamp terminals for secure field terminations, contributing to robust installation in demanding environments.
