Industrial TL5012-1024SM Safety Interlock Switch

TL5012-1024SM is Omron Automation and Safety’s compact STI safety interlock switch designed to secure guarding doors on industrial equipment. It operates on a 24 VAC/DC coil and provides a three-pole contact set with 2 normally closed and 1 normally open contacts (3PST-2NC/1NO) for reliable lock/release signaling. The unit uses a standard actuator with a 1 x M20 cable entry (NPT adapter 44530-0010 available) and a rotatable head that can be set at 180° to yield four actuator-entry points for flexible installation. It delivers a robust locking force up to 1000 N, supports water washdown, and is IP67-rated (NEMA 6) for harsh environments; a lid-mounted status light and an optional override key enhance diagnostics and emergency access. The TL5012 family is rated for about 1 x 10^6 mechanical cycles and is CE-marked with UL and C-UL listings where applicable, making it suitable for guard-door interlocks on sliding or swinging doors that must remain locked until an unlock signal is applied.
