Industrial TITAN-USB-8PORT-RS232RS422RS485 Rack Mount USB To Serial Adapter is an 8-port USB-to-serial interface that delivers RS232, RS422, and RS485 connectivity from a single USB host port. Model USB-8COMi-RM uses an internal 100–240 VAC power supply and is housed in a rack-mountable, industrial-grade metal chassis; it supports USB 2.0 High Speed and USB 1.1 compatibility via a USB Type-B upstream connector. Each of the eight ports uses a DB9 male serial connector, with RS232 speeds up to 1 Mbps and RS422/RS485 up to 10 Mbps, plus 15 kV ESD protection and a 2 KB transmit/receive FIFO. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux, and macOS, and it's commonly used in factory automation equipment, data collection systems, PLC communication, conveyor controls, barcode readers, time clocks, SCADA systems, and machine monitoring where reliable multi-port serial connectivity is required.
